Meg Atkinson is an artist and art educator living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute in 1984, and her MFA from CUNY, Queens College, in 1991. Atkinson has exhibited in New York City and the tri-state area, including shows at ODETTA, Morgan Lehman Gallery, Geoffrey Young Gallery, Curious Matter, and Storefront Ten Eyck. She has also written about the painter, Louise Fishman for the blog, Painters on Paintings, and has published a non-fiction piece titled, “Illuminated Manuscripts” in the BookCourt's literary magazine, Cousin Corinne's Reminder.
